Uptown Gravenhurst
The Gravenhurst Business Improvement Area (GBIA) was established by by-law by the sitting council in the Town of Gravenhurst in 1979. Originally the primary mandate focused on beautification initiatives but it has more recently evolved to include a mandate to sustain and develop the Downtown core through beautification, promotions, events and marketing activities. The GBIA acts as a unifying body for its membership working to make Uptown Gravenhurst a “destination” not only for its retailers and restaurants but for its professional and cultural assets as well.
